Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions for the transportation and delivery of goods from Diamond Trading Company. We ship all our textile products directly from our manufacturing and trading hub in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh.

1. General Shipping Principle

All shipping and delivery charges are to be borne exclusively by the customer. Diamond Trading Company operates on an Ex-Factory (Ex-Works) basis. Our responsibility ends once the goods are handed over to the carrier/transportation agency.

2. Website Purchases (Sample Orders)

For customers purchasing individual samples via our Shopify store:

  • Shipping Calculation: Shipping costs are calculated at the time of checkout based on the weight of the samples and the delivery destination (Domestic or International).

  • Payment: The shipping fee must be paid in full at the time of purchase along with the product cost.

  • Processing Time: Sample orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–4 business days.

  • Delivery Partners: We utilize reputed courier services (e.g., Delhivery, BlueDart, or India Post) to ensure trackable delivery.

  • Tracking: Once dispatched, a tracking number will be shared via email or SMS.

3. Bulk Orders (Wholesale & B2B)

For large-scale orders negotiated via our "Bulk Inquiry" forms or offline channels:

  • Mode of Transport: Bulk consignments are generally shipped via road transport (trucking companies) or cargo services.

  • Freight Charges ("To-Pay" Basis): Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all bulk orders are shipped on a "Freight To-Pay" basis. This means the customer is responsible for paying the transportation charges directly to the transport company upon the arrival of the goods at the destination.

  • Loading & Handling: While we handle the loading at our facility in Burhanpur, any octroi, entry tax, or local terminal charges at the destination are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Transit Insurance: We highly recommend that customers opt for transit insurance for high-value bulk shipments. Diamond Trading Company is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage incurred during transit.

4. International Shipping (Exports)

As a registered exporter with a valid IEC (Import Export Code), we facilitate global shipping:

  • Customs & Duties: For all international orders, any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Documentation: We will provide all necessary export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.) to ensure smooth customs clearance.

5. Delivery Timelines

  • Domestic: Depending on the distance from Burhanpur, domestic deliveries typically take 5–10 business days.

  • International: Delivery timelines vary by country and shipping method (Air/Sea) and will be communicated at the time of order finalization.

6. Undelivered Consignments

If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or failure to collect the delivery, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to resend the items.
